Macromedia Flash Player installation with Cabri 3D CD-Rom

In order to ease the installation of Macromedia Flash Player, the installer has been included into your Cabri 3D CD-Rom. Simply follow the instructions for your Operating System.

Microsoft Windows

  • Insert the Cabri 3D CD-Rom into the CD-Rom drive of your computer. If Cabri 3D installer is automatically launched, please close it.
  • Open My Computer and right-click -> explore your CD-Rom drive.
  • The content of Cabri 3D CD-Rom is displayed into the Windows explorer. Open the directory Third Party Software.
  • In this directory you will find a file flashplayer7_win.exe. Double click on this file, the installation process of Macromedia Flash Player will be launched. Simply follow the instructions to complete the installation.

MacOS X

  • Insert the Cabri 3D CD-Rom into the CD-Rom drive of your Mac. The CD icon is shown on the desktop. Double click on this icon to display the content of the CD-Rom.
  • Open the directory Third Party Software.
  • In this directory you will find a file flashplayer7_macosx. Double click on this file, this will launch the Macromedia Flash Player installer. Simply follow the instructions to complete the installation.

Macromedia Flash Player installation without Cabri 3D CD-Rom

If you bought the electronic version of Cabri 3D (you do not have the installation CD-Rom, you just downloaded the installer from Cabrilog's web site) you have to install Macromedia Flash Player directly from Macromedia's web site. This operation requires an Internet connection.

Note about Windows XP SP2

If you are using Microsoft Windows XP SP2 and Internet Explorer, you may be prompted that Windows has blocked the active content of the page for your protection. Internet Explorer considers the flash movie as an active object with potential danger for your computer. It is perfectly safe to activate the object. Just follow the instructions given by Internet Explorer.
